Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. This role involves working in a Level I Trauma Center, where you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing care. The Physician Assistant will also engage in research initiatives and utilize Telehealth services to enhance patient access to care.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Administer medications and perform procedures such as spinal taps and tube feeding as necessary.
  • Provide critical care support in emergency situations, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
  • Manage patient data effectively, maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.
  • Participate in family planning discussions and provide education to patients regarding their health options.
  • Engage in research activities aimed at improving patient outcomes and advancing clinical practices.
  • Utilize Telehealth technologies to conduct virtual consultations and follow-up appointments when appropriate.

Skills

  • Proficiency in working within a Level I Trauma Center environment.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to analyze data and apply findings to clinical practice.
  • Experience with Telehealth platforms for remote patient management.
  • Excellent data management skills, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
  • Knowledge of critical care protocols and procedures.
  • Competence in performing tube feeding and medication administration safely.
  • Familiarity with family planning services and patient education techniques.
  • Ability to perform spinal taps and other invasive procedures as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
