Pediatric Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners needed for 2 Full-Time outpatient clinic positions with a Community Health group just outside Hartford, Connecticut. Pediatric Certification not required, however, prior pediatric APP experience is required (no new grads at this time). This is an FQHC Opportunity. Hiring as of 12/12/2024.
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Roles | Responsibilities:
- Provide Pediatric / Adolescent clinical services to an underserved patient population at one site in the Hartford, Connecticut area.
- Coordinate with other clinical and non-clinical staff (including Physician Assistants / Nurse Practitioners) to provide optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions for Pediatric patients.
- Prescribe medication for patients as required or directed.
- Coordinate with specialists as needed.
- Provide education to patients and family members when necessary.
- Medical Spanish is a plus.
Days | Hours | Compensation | Benefits:
- 40hrs/week
- Some weekend hours may be required
- Administrative / Non-Clinical time provided
- Some preferred schedules will be considered
