Pediatric Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners needed for outpatient roles with a CT-based Community Health group just outside Hartford, Connecticut. (Pediatric Certification not required)Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioner providers with prior Pediatric APP experience will be considered. No new grads at this time. This is a FQHC Opportunity. Hiring as of 12/3/2024.
Pediatric Practice Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Roles | Responsibilities:
- Provide Pediatric / Adolescent clinical services to patients at one site in the Hartford, Connecticut area.
- Coordinate with other clinical (including Physician Assistants / Nurse Practitioners) and non-clinical staff to provide optimal patient outcomes.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions for Pediatric patients.
- Prescribe medication for patients as required or directed.
- Coordinate with specialists as needed.
- Provide education to patients and family members when necessary.
- Medical Spanish is a plus.
Days | Hours | Compensation | Benefits:
- Full-time = 40hrs/week
- Part-time = 20hrs/week minimum
- Administrative / Non-Clinical time provided
- Some preferred schedules will be considered
- Very minimal call – no physical call
