Full Job Description
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner opportunity with Internal Medicine Group near Hartford, CT. Opportunity to work condensed 4 day work week or 5 days. Experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Urgent Care is required. Most complete compensation model around. Reasonable patient volume.
About the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Internal Medicine opportunity
- Office is part of Multispecialty Group so referrals are easy
- One Physician, One Physician Assistant, One Nurse Practitioner on team
- Office hours are 8:30-5, Monday-Friday, Saturday 8:30-12
- Some Providers work 4 longer days
- Combination of annual exams, well checks, and acute visits
- EMR is EPIC
- 16-18 patients a day
- Patients are all ages but leans more toward over age 65
- Management of patients with Chronic Disease like Diabetes, Hypertension, Congestive heart Failure, Hyperlipidemia, and COPD
Requirements of the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner opportunity
- Completed Master’s Degree as PA or NP
- National Certification
- Connecticut State Medical License
- DEA
- Over one year of experience in outpatient Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Interest in Primary Care Model and managing chronic disease and acute presentations
- Strong note taking ability so efficiency is driven daily

- Base salary is $120,000-140,000 depending on number of years of experience
- More than 5 years of experience open to negotiation
