Now HIring: Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner – Vascular Surgery
Location: Pueblo, COJob Type: Locum, 1099Schedule: 2 long weekends per month (Thursday–Monday/Tuesday)Call: 24-hour call responsibility during scheduled weekendsPractice Setting: Level III Trauma CenterPay Rate: $90–$120 per hour
Join a dynamic surgical team at a Level III Trauma Center and play a critical role in complex vascular procedures. This is an excellent locum opportunity for a skilled PA or NP seeking a challenging, hands-on position with a flexible schedule.
KeyResponsibilities: as a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner:
- First assist in a wide variety of vascular surgery cases including:
- General vascular surgeries
- Endovascular procedures
- Bypass surgeries (fem-pop, aorto-femoral/iliac)
- Peripheral and carotid interventions
- Thoracic and abdominal vascular cases
- Vascular access device placement
- Subclavian steal procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary care teams
- EMR: EPIC
Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner’s Requirements:
- Board certification required
- Active state medical license
- Strong vascular surgery procedural skills and clinical judgment
