Location: Littleton, Colorado

Overview:Join our busy and well-established internal medicine practice in Littleton, Colorado, where we provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population. Our practice includes built-in urgent care visits, ensuring variety and dynamic opportunities to enhance your clinical skills.

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate a commitment to delivering quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Conduct urgent care visits, handling a wide range of medical issues.
  • Prescribe medications and other therapies as appropriate.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work, imaging studies, and EKGs.
  • Provide preventative care and health education, including routine physicals and wellness visits.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide integrated care.
  • Assist in the management of chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
  • Perform minor in-office procedures, such as suturing, wound care, and joint injections.
  • Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the EMR system.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Active Colorado Physician Assistant license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
  • NCCPA certification required.
  • Previous experience in internal medicine or a similar field preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while being an integral part of a team.
