Overview:Join our busy and well-established internal medicine practice in Littleton, Colorado, where we provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population. Our practice includes built-in urgent care visits, ensuring variety and dynamic opportunities to enhance your clinical skills.
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate a commitment to delivering quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions.
- Conduct urgent care visits, handling a wide range of medical issues.
- Prescribe medications and other therapies as appropriate.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work, imaging studies, and EKGs.
- Provide preventative care and health education, including routine physicals and wellness visits.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide integrated care.
- Assist in the management of chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
- Perform minor in-office procedures, such as suturing, wound care, and joint injections.
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in the EMR system.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Active Colorado Physician Assistant license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
- NCCPA certification required.
- Previous experience in internal medicine or a similar field preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while being an integral part of a team.
