We are looking for a Psychiatric Physician Assistant to become part of the Denver Wellness team! Job Duties:
- Assess, diagnose, manage and treat patients
- Write prescriptions and provide patient education on: prescriptions, ketamine/spravato, TMS, and psychotherapy
- Coordinate treatment among other medical specialists and therapists
- Communicate with patients, physicians, and other members of the care team
- Participate in continuing education for continuing certification processes for licensure requirements
- Performs counseling within the scope of clinical practice
- Obtaining and maintaining prescriptive authority per Colorado State Board Medical Examiner regulations
- Establishes systematic follow-up for evaluation of the plan of care and reassesses and modifies the plan, as necessary, including initiation of referrals and consultation with other health care providers as appropriate

Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in Colorado or eligible for state licensure
- DEA license
- Graduation from an accredited educational program and successful completion of certification
- All certifications and licenses required must be kept current as a condition of continued employment
- Demonstrates positive behavior, attitude, and commitment as documented by supervising physician, patient satisfaction surveys, and feedback from other personnel
- Demonstrates positive teamwork, cooperative efforts, prompt and attentive service to patients and colleagues
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
