Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role offers an opportunity to work in various medical specialties and contribute to patient care in an Urgent Care setting. This position is for a PRN. Clinic hours are T-F 8a-630p, S-S-M 8a-830p
Responsibilities– Perform physical examinations and patient assessments- Order and interpret diagnostic tests- Develop and implement treatment plans- Assist in surgical procedures and minor office-based procedures- Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention- Maintain accurate medical records- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications– Proficiency in aseptic technique- Experience in acute care settings- Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine- Familiarity with pediatrics- Ability to assess vital signs accurately- Competence in managing medical records efficiently- Skill in botulinum toxin treatment administration- Capability to catheterize patients when necessary- Strong understanding of human anatomy- Familiarity with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) usage
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 – $70.00 per hour
