PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT – FOOT & ANKLE SURGERY
Full-Time | Fort Collins, CO
Foot of the Mountains Foot & Ankle Surgery is a rapidly growing, private foot and ankle surgical practice delivering high-level, personalized care to patients across Northern Colorado. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Physician Assistant with an interest in orthopedics, sports medicine, surgery, and wound care to join our team.
What You’ll Do
- Perform patient evaluations, exams, and follow-up visits
- Manage common foot & ankle conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, ulcerations, and post-op care
- Assist with procedures and surgical care (training provided)
- Write orders, prescriptions, therapy plans, and consults
- Collaborate closely with the surgeon to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and help drive patient satisfaction
- Contribute to clinical efficiency, workflow, and documentation
- Round and provide care for hospital inpatients and facilitate pre and postoperative inpatient care and communication with providers
What We’re Looking For
- Physician Assistant (PA-C) with current Colorado license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience in orthopedics, podiatry, sports medicine, or wound care preferred (not required but strongly preferred)
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and a proactive mindset
- Compassionate communicator and team-focused attitude
- Tech-savvy and comfortable in a modern practice environment

Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Limited weekend inpatient rounding only as patient care requires

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
