Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Full-Time | W-2 | Outpatient | No Weekends or On-Call

We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about high-quality patient care, excited by cutting-edge treatments, and eager to collaborate within a forward-thinking clinical environment.

As a PMHNP at Relief Mental Health, you will play a central clinical leadership role within the clinic. You will provide comprehensive psychiatric care while working closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and clinical leadership to deliver advanced treatments including SPRAVATO® (esketamine) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Patient Management

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing follow-up care for adult patients

  • Assess patient appropriateness for SPRAVATO® (esketamine) and oversee treatment initiation and monitoring

  • Administer intranasal SPRAVATO® and monitor patients during required observation periods

  • Collaborate with psychiatrists to identify and refer appropriate candidates for TMS therapy

  • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on clinical response and patient goals

  • Monitor patient progress, outcomes, and safety throughout the course of treatment

  • Facilitate drug screening and pregnancy testing as clinically indicated

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Serve as the primary onsite provider, supported by a clinical assistant and integrated care team

  • Collaborate closely with in-house therapists, psychiatrists, clinic management, and operations leadership

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams to support continuity of care

  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and case discussions

Innovation & Program Development

  • Partner with leadership to recommend and implement new clinical programs and treatment modalities

  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Relief Mental Health’s innovative care model

  • Support quality improvement initiatives and best-practice development across the organization

Required

  • Active Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license with psychiatric scope of practice

  • Active DEA registration

  • Ability to practice independently in an outpatient psychiatric setting

  • Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and patient-centered approach

Preferred

  • PMHNP certification or psychiatric specialization

  • Experience with SPRAVATO®, TMS, or other interventional psychiatric treatments

  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills within a healthcare setting

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
