Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our Ortho healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating various health conditions. This position requires a strong foundation in clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Assist in the diagnosis and management of patient conditions across various specialties, including emergency medicine and hospital medicine.
- Administer medications and perform procedures as directed by supervising physicians.
- Participate in discharge planning for patients, ensuring continuity of care post-hospitalization.
- Provide esthetic laser treatments as needed, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including ICD-10 coding for diagnoses.
- Engage in airway management when required, ensuring patient safety during procedures.
Skills
- Proficiency in emergency medicine practices and protocols.
- Experience with medication administration techniques and best practices.
- Knowledge of medical-surgical principles relevant to patient care.
- Familiarity with senior care considerations and specialized treatment approaches.
- Strong skills in discharge planning processes to facilitate smooth transitions for patients.

- Ability to manage airway effectively during critical situations.
- Understanding of ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation of diagnoses.

Pay: $120.00 per hour
