Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Concussion/TBI Specialist (Personal Injury – Auto Accidents)

We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with experience or a strong interest in TBI/concussion management to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Position Summary:In this role, you will evaluate and manage patients who have sustained concussions or mild-to-moderate traumatic brain injuries as a result of auto accidents. You’ll be an essential part of a team that includes PM&R physicians, neurologists, chiropractors, physical therapists, and case managers—all working together to achieve the best outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough medical evaluations of TBI/concussion patients following auto accidents
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans using evidence-based protocols
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary specialists on diagnosis, treatment, and patient progression
  • Educate patients and their families on injury, prognosis, and recovery expectations
  • Assist with medication management, return-to-work/activity plans, and referrals as needed
  • Maintain detailed and timely medical documentation within the EHR system
  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists

Qualifications:

  • Licensed and certified as a PA-C or NP (FNP, AGNP, or NP-C) in [State]
  • Prior experience in neurology, physical medicine, urgent care, or personal injury preferred
  • Passion for helping injury patients recover physically, cognitively, and emotionally
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $107,789.00 – $117,665.00 per year

Expected hours: 40 per week
