Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Holistic Physician Assistant who is passionate about integrating traditional and alternative medicine to promote overall wellness. In this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients using a holistic approach. You will also educate patients on preventive care and lifestyle changes, working to address both acute and chronic conditions through a blend of conventional medicine and natural therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide holistic medical care, blending traditional practices with alternative therapies such as nutrition, stress management, and natural remedies.
– Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams, health history reviews, and diagnostic testing.
– Develop personalized treatment plans that address the root causes of health issues and promote overall wellness.
– Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
– Educate patients on preventive care, nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and complementary therapies.
– Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
– Stay updated on the latest developments in holistic and integrative medicine.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
– Provide patient-centered care in a supportive, empathetic environment.
Qualifications:
– Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) in Colorado.
– A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on holistic or integrative medicine preferred.
– Strong understanding of both conventional and alternative medical treatments.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
– Passion for promoting holistic health and well-being.
– Certification in complementary therapies (e.g., nutrition, acupuncture, herbal medicine) is a plus.
