Full Job Description

Redwood Medical, a premier healthcare destination in the greater Denver metro area, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant and/or Nurse Practioner. We currently operate two clinics and are expanding to Cherry Creek. Under the guidance of Dr. Brent Herron MD, our clinics provide comprehensive primary care and medical aesthetics services. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Physician’s Assistant to make a significant impact within our community. This opportunity allows you to run your practice, while providing excellent support staff, infrastructure, marketing, and leadership. You will work in a team environment while doing what you do best!!. Success in this role has been found with professionals from Urgent Care, ED, or private practice. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and review of diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, as well as injuries.
  • Provide medical weight loss as needed
  • Provide hormone replacement therapy as needed
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in consultation with supervising physicians.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state laws and regulations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging.
  • Educate patients and their families on health conditions, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Follow up with patients regarding their progress, treatment response, and follow-up appointments.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to maintain professional competency.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure in CO as a Physician Assistant.
  • NCCPA certification.
  • Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred. Will consider recent graduates.
  • Strong knowledge of medical practices, procedures, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR) systems

We have found great success with those that have a background in urgent care, private practice, or within a specialty. This position requires at least one year of experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
