Overview
WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING EXPERIENCED FAMILY MEDICINE PRACTITIONERS (1–3 YEARS).
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our Direct Primary Care practice. This role involves providing comprehensive primary care through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, patient education, and ongoing follow-up. Experience in family medicine, chronic disease management, preventive care, and acute care is essential. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems is required. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, clinically confident, and able to practice with appropriate autonomy in a dynamic outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical exams and medical history reviews
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions across a family medicine population
- Perform office-based procedures such as suturing, joint injections, simple dermatologic procedures, wound care
- Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
- Develop and implement care plans including medication management and lifestyle-based treatment strategies
- Provide patient education and counseling on preventive care, chronic disease management, and health optimization
- Utilize EHR systems to accurately document encounters, diagnoses, and care plans
- Manage telehealth visits and communicate effectively with patients through secure messaging
- Coordinate referrals, follow-up care, and care navigation when needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support whole-person care in a DPC model
- Participate in quality improvement, workflow enhancements, and clinical process development
Requirements
- Certification as a Physician Assistant with active Colorado licensure (or the ability to obtain)
- Minimum 1–3 years of family medicine, primary care, or outpatient clinical experience
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and other electronic platforms (email, Slack, etc)
- Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to manage a wide range of primary care conditions
- Competency in common outpatient procedures (e.g., suturing, injections, skin procedures, joint injections, phlebotomy)
- Familiarity with preventive care guidelines, chronic disease management, and population health principles
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and infection control standards
- Excellent communication skills and comfort with patient-facing education
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small clinical team
- Comfort practicing in a membership-based Direct Primary Care environment, or openness to learning a collaborative, patient-centered, holistic approach to care.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
