Full Job Description

Private medical / clinical research company in Denver – Aurora Metro area seeking for an enthusiastic Nurse Practioner or Physician – Assistant ( PA) to join our clinical research team as a sub-investigator / clinical research coordinator.

Job descriptions hightlight but not limited to:

  • Provide full scope primary care services to adult, and senior patients
  • Examine diagnose and treat patients for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses
  • Counsel and educate patients and families about acute and chronic conditions or concerns
  • Complete timely and thorough documentation using EMR system
  • Formulate diagnostic and treatment plans
  • Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and procedures
  • Order lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan and provide advice on follow up
  • Responsible for the coordination of care with specialists and appropriate ancillary services
  • Maintain quality of care standards as defined by the practice

– Perform clinical research sub – investigator duties as the following : but not limited to :

  • Reviewing and comprehending research protocols
  • Recruit patients into research studies
  • Coordination of clinical research to ensure research activities comply federal guidelines and institutional policy
  • Conducting study visits and documenting per protocol requirement
  • Working closely with compliance officers facilitating and reporting on clinical audits
  • Performing drug accountability, patient management, recruitment, patient interfacing, source data collection/ entering, and maintaining regulatory documents follow FDA guidelines
  • Phlebotomy / Human Bio sample collection, lab processing and shipping

Qualifications:

  • Active unrestricted NP or PA License in Colorado
  • Prescribing authority or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • 1 year minimum work in clinical research field or related medical field
  • Proficient in phlebotomy and injections.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented

Compensation is to be determined based on individual relevant work experience.

Hours range from 24 hours to 40 hours a week. To Be Determined.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
