As a Locum NP/PA, you will play a vital role in our staffing efforts, ensuring that healthcare facilities maintain high standards of patient care. This role is particularly suited for professionals looking to make a significant impact in emergency medicine while enjoying the flexibility of contract work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of patients in the emergency department
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality care
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Document patient encounters accurately in medical records
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatments
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards

Requirements

  • Valid NP or PA license in the state of Colorado
  • Associate degree in Nursing or related field for NP; Master’s degree for PA
  • Previous experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred

Schedule: 12-hour day shifts

Daily Volume: 30-45

Must be comfortable with pediatric patients ages 3 months+

EMR: Practice Velocity

Must be board-certified
