Physician Assistant Denver, CO
Denver Dermatology Center is seeking a dermatology Physician Assistant to join their practice, with a mid-May start date. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Unrestricted physician assistant license in the state of Colorado required.
- Experience as a Physician Assistant (in a dermatology practice preferred).
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Computer skills and familiarity with EHR/EMR programs.
- Confidence to work independently but is also a team player.
- Willingness to take over existing patients as well as take on new patients.
- Ability to see patients promptly and efficiently.
- Values excellence in patient care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform a full range of patient examinations, including skin checks and other dermatological conditions.
- Create treatment plans that align to the needs of each patient.
- Perform skin biopsies.
- Monitor all test results and provide prompt follow-up with patients.
- Provide advice on healthy lifestyle habits and practices for patients based on their current health status.
- Prescribe and refill medications as needed.
- Provide referrals to Dr. Muldrow or other specialists as needed.
- Recommend products sold in the office.
- Refer general dermatology patients for cosmetic procedures in house.
- Prepare and update patient records through the EHR system.
- Contribute to a team-based approach to care with all staff.
The base annual salary is $110,000, dependent upon skills and experience (with bonus and commission available).
