Full Job Description
Busy Neurology practice seeks energetic and dynamic PA or NP to work with a leading Neurology Physician.
Minimum of 1 year in neurological setting preferred or outpatient clinical setting preferred
Master’s Degree – Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant or Master of Science in Nursing Program PA-C or NP.
Ability to obtain or has current unrestricted CO license with prescriptive authority Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado.
Physician Assistant (PA-C) certification issued by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed in the course of practice.
Eligible to provide services reimbursable services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid.
Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion
Unrestricted medical staff membership, with appropriate practice privileges.
Prescriptive authority as appropriate, per medical staff service privileging process.
BLS/ACLS from the American Heart Association
Reduced work week schedule options available.
Flexible pay options, hourly or salaried.
General responsibilities:
Provide patient care in outpatient clinical setting.
Care for adult patients with various neurological conditions.
Out patient calls assist as per the physicians schedule.
Patient load of 14 max per day, with gradual increase from 4 to 14 over 6 months.
