Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant to lead clinical oversight for our Urine Drug Monitoring Program and contribute to patient care in our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) services. This role is essential to ensuring medical, regulatory, and operational excellence, with a strong emphasis on compliance, accurate interpretation of clinical data, and direct patient interaction.
You will supervise technical staff, evaluate complex clinical findings, and help shape policies and protocols that ensure quality and consistency across our services. This is a key position supporting our mission to provide safe, evidence-based care to individuals with substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide Urine Drug Screening Technicians
- Review and interpret urine drug test results, including confirmatory lab analyses
- Ensure comprehensive and compliant documentation and charting
- Develop and refine clinical protocols, SOPs, and compliance workflows
- Act as liaison to external laboratory personnel, ensuring QA/QC standards are upheld
- Provide expert-level clinical oversight of complex or ambiguous patient cases
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize clinical workflows
- Provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) to individuals with substance use disorders
Qualifications
- Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Active Physician Assistant license in good standing
- Experience in addiction medicine, laboratory oversight, or toxicology (preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with supervisory experience
- Excellent communication and team collaboration capabilities
