Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. The Physician Assistant will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes through effective communication and comprehensive care.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Review labs and pathology reports and communicate/close the loop with patients and referring physicians
- Comply with quality measures and patient management policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Maintain smooth flow of the clinic
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician and other staff regarding patient care
- Have the willingness to gain/reinforce knowledge and clinical experience
Qualifications:
- Ability to build rapport with other team members and patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong work ethic
- Valid Physician Assistant license
- Previous experience in other medical fields preferred
Experience:
- Gastroenterology or other Internal medicine specalities: 1 year (Preferred). New graduates are welcome to apply
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
