Full Job Description

Colorado Imaging Associates (CIA) is seeking a full time Radiology PA. This position will focus on the following priorities:

  • Outpatient E&M visits (predominantly in the OBL)
  • Inpatient rounding/consults
  • Consenting
  • Fluoroscopy studies and procedures
  • Ultrasound procedures
  • IR procedures
  • Preliminary reads for select diagnostic studies

PA primary procedures

  • Paracenteses and thoracenteses
  • Thyroid biopsies
  • Tunneled line removals
  • Fluoroscopy studies, including but not limited to: swallow studies, gastrointestinal luminal studies, nasoenteric tube placements, lumbar punctures, arthrograms/arthrocentesis, hysterosalpingograms
  • Other procedures as deemed appropriate in conjunction with the supervising physician
  • Placing post procedure orders and writing notes

PA preliminary reads

  • DEXA
  • Thyroid ultrasound
  • Bone age
  • Coronary Calcium Score

We are seeking applicants who are either certified in fluoroscopy usage or willing to become certified in fluoro usage with radiation safety training paid for by CIA. This training is required.

Primary work locations are within the Greater Denver and Boulder Metropolitan areas, with rotational travel to remote sites within Colorado.

Applicants should have experience in evaluation and management of patients with appropriate documentation. In addition, they should have a desire to practice as independently as possible within their scope of practice and with appropriate physician supervision.

Applicants should be competent in performing invasive procedures and motivated to learn new procedures. CIA will provide training for all procedures.

Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
