Job Overview
Position: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Type: Part-Time (17 – 34 hrs / week)
Salary: Starting $55+ / hour (with competitive pay based on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team and provide high-quality care in a collaborative outpatient medical setting.
This role offers the opportunity to practice independently while working closely with an experienced healthcare team focused on preventive care, acute illness management, chronic disease management, women’s health, wellness services, and patient education. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Manage acute care visits including upper respiratory infections, minor injuries, urinary tract infections, skin conditions, and other common outpatient medical concerns.
- Diagnose and manage chronic medical conditions including hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disorders, obesity, and other ongoing health concerns.
- Perform preventive care services including annual wellness exams, physicals, women’s health evaluations, and health screenings.
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory testing, imaging studies, and diagnostic results to guide treatment decisions.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with state regulations and clinic protocols.
- Provide patient education regarding disease prevention, medication management, lifestyle modification, and overall wellness.
- Perform in-office procedures including injections, wound care, minor procedures, specimen collection, and other outpatient clinical procedures.
- Accurately document patient encounters using electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) system while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high documentation standards.
- Coordinate care with specialists, referral partners, imaging centers, pharmacies, and interdisciplinary healthcare providers.
- Participate in telehealth visits when appropriate to improve patient accessibility and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to improve patient experience, workflow efficiency, and overall quality of care.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in the State of Colorado.
- Current national certification through accredited certifying body (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
- DEA license with prescribing authority.
- Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred in family practice, primary care, urgent care, internal medicine, or outpatient medical practice.
- Strong knowledge of preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and evidence-based treatment protocols.
- Experience treating patients across a broad age range including adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems; experience with eClinicalWorks or similar systems preferred.
- Ability to independently evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Comfortable performing outpatient procedures such as injections, minor wound care, specimen collection, and in-office treatments.
- Strong understanding of medical documentation, coding principles, and clinical compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and establish strong patient relationships.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented private practice environment.
Preferred Experience
- Family Practice or Internal Medicine experience.
- Urgent Care experience.
- Women’s Health experience.
- Weight Management or Hormone Replacement Therapy experience is a plus.
- Experience with aesthetic or wellness services is beneficial but not required.
