Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing medical practice in a full-time role.This position requires a minimum of three years of clinical experience practicing as an NP or PA, including at least one year of Primary Care experience.This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys developing long-term patient relationships and has significant experience and interest in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and comprehensive adult care. We are particularly interested in a provider with extensive HRT experience who practices evidence-based hormone therapy and closely follows current The Menopause Society (formerly NAMS) guidelines and recommendations.The ideal candidate will be confident practicing with a high degree of independence, possess excellent clinical judgment and patient communication skills, and be comfortable managing an established and growing patient panel.Candidates with an established local patient following or a demonstrated history of successfully building and retaining a patient panel are strongly preferred.Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of adult primary care patients
- Evaluate and manage patients receiving Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
- Provide evidence-based HRT care consistent with current Menopause Society/NAMS guidelines and recommendations
- Assess patients for appropriate HRT candidacy, including individualized evaluation of risks, benefits, contraindications, and treatment options
- Order, review, and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing medication management and monitoring
- Manage common acute and chronic medical conditions
- Provide preventive care and health maintenance
- Educate patients regarding hormone therapy, preventive health, lifestyle modifications, medications, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care when appropriate
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and other members of the care team
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with patients
- Actively contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice and its HRT services
Required Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing
- Appropriate national board certification
- Prescriptive authority as required by state law
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Minimum of 1 year of Primary Care experience as an NP or PA
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage adult primary care patients
- Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to practice with a high degree of independence while collaborating effectively with physicians and the clinical team
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive clinical experience evaluating and managing patients receiving Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
- Strong knowledge of and commitment to closely following current The Menopause Society (formerly NAMS) evidence-based guidelines and recommendations for menopausal hormone therapy
- Experience with HRT patient selection, individualized risk assessment, contraindications, medication management, laboratory monitoring, follow-up, and patient education
- Experience in women’s health, internal medicine, endocrinology, functional/integrative medicine, or a related field
- Established local patient following and/or demonstrated success building and retaining a patient panel

Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
