Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including primary care and senior care. The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management, including medication administration, and family planning services. This position requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Administer medications and perform procedures as required.
- Collaborate with physicians on treatment plans and provide follow-up care.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management, medications, and treatment options.
- Utilize DME (Durable Medical Equipment) knowledge to assist patients with necessary equipment.
- Maintain accurate medical records using ICD-10 coding for diagnoses.
- Participate in the management of patients as needed.
- Support senior care initiatives by addressing the unique health needs of elderly patients.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with active state licensure.
- Experience in primary care or senior care settings preferred.
- Proficiency in medication administration and basic life support techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Knowledge of DME processes and discharge planning protocols is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65.00 – $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
