Southern California Medical Center is looking for a Physician Assistant to join a team of medical professionals in our clinic.

A Physician Assistant (PA) provides patient care under the supervision and direction of a Physician. The Physician Assistant examines patients, prescribes medications, and orders diagnostic tests. The Physician Assistant acts independently, as well as part of a collaborative team to gather patients’ medical history, determine diagnoses, and prepare, implement, and measure effectiveness of treatment and care plans.
Responsibilities
- Assist Physicians with examinations.
- Develop and implement patient care plans and treatment.
- Order laboratory and diagnostic tests.
- Interpret test results.
- Prescribe medicine and medical interventions.
- Assist in providing acute and chronic illness care to patients.
- Inform and educate family members on the condition of patients.
- Counsel patients on preventative health practices.
- Provide clinical direction and leadership to healthcare provider team.
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65.00 – $85.00 per hour
