Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality medical care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role requires a strong understanding of internal medicine, diagnostic evaluation, and the ability to manage complex patient cases effectively. The Physician Assistant will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, particularly within an Urgent Care Center.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
• Manage pain management strategies for patients with acute and chronic conditions.
• Provide care for senior patients, addressing their unique health needs within a hospital setting.
• Document all patient interactions accurately using medical coding practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and provide quality care.
• Educate patients and their families about health management, preventive care, and treatment options.

Skills

• Proficient in diagnostic evaluation techniques and internal medicine practices.
• Strong knowledge of infection control measures and aseptic techniques.
• Experience in managing inpatient care within an Urgent Care Center.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with medical coding standards is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $66.10 – $93.63 per hour
