Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings. This role involves assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and performing various medical procedures. The Physician Assistant will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes and ensuring the delivery of comprehensive medical services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and obtain detailed medical histories from patients.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, providing appropriate follow-up care.
• Perform procedures such as dermabrasion, IV infusion, and administering injections.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care for patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize eClinicalWorks for documentation and management of patient records.
• Provide emergency medicine support as needed, including catheterization and neonatal ventilator management.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of inpatient care practices and protocols.
• Proficiency in performing esthetic laser treatments.
• Experience with discharge planning processes.
• Ability to administer injections safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Strong critical thinking skills to assess situations quickly and make informed decisions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
