Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including hospitals and medical offices. This role requires a strong understanding of medical-surgical practices, geriatrics, and patient management systems. The Physician Assistant will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care in accordance with established standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to aid in patient care decisions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including catheterization when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record system.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with medical practices.
Experience
- A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field is required.
- Previous experience in a medical office or hospital setting is preferred, with a focus on geriatrics being an advantage.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
- Strong clinical skills in patient care management and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members effectively.

Pay: $150,159.00 – $185,056.00 per year
Expected hours: 12 – 36 per week
