Great opportunity for a full-time Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Neurosurgery Team. This Physician Assistant will work in multiple settings including in-patient, outpatient, operating room and clinic.

Provides health care services to patients under direction and responsibility of Physicians by performing the following duties:
- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical and post-operative care
- Provide support to the supervising physician in the operating room as a surgical assistant
- Demonstrate leadership as a clinical resource
- Participate in rounding independently or with a surgeon
- Coordinate and manage patient care as assigned by supervising physician
- Respond timely to patient questions/issues that arise as triaged by clinical staff
- Perform delegated tasks as assigned by the supervising physician
- Accurately document all patient encounters and communication in the electronic health record
Education/Licensing/Requirements:
- Graduate of a Physician Assistant Training Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA), or its predecessors.
- Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Committee on Certification Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required.
- Current California State Licensed Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- DEA license required.
- 2 years of experience working as a PA.
- Experience in a surgical specialty, i.e. Neurosurgery, Spine, Orthopedics.
- BLS/ACLS/PALS certification required
- Experience and proficiency in electronic medical records, Cerner experience a plus.

Pay: $118,893.00 – $197,767.00 per year
