Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
Please note, this position has a weekend-preferred schedule- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments of patients- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care- Perform procedures such as gastric lavage and aseptic techniques- Prescribe medications, including psychopharmacology, as needed- Provide care for patients in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and homes- Specialize in specific areas such as pediatrics or intensive care unit (ICU)
Experience:- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner- Proficient in conducting physical examinations and health assessments- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality- Experience in acute care settings, such as hospitals or emergency rooms- Familiarity with home care practices and providing care in a home setting- Ability to perform procedures such as gastric lavage and aseptic techniques- Competence in psychopharmacology for prescribing medications- Specialization or experience in pediatrics or ICU is a plus
