Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care, including patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care, while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical exams and patient assessments
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results
- Develop treatment plans and provide patient education
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient encounters in electronic health records (EHR)
- Maintain a compassionate, empathetic, and professional demeanor with patients and their families
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and medical guidelines
- Participate in continuous education and professional development
Qualifications:
- Physician Assistant: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program and board certification (PA-C)
- Nurse Practitioner: Master’s degree in Nursing, board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Active state licensure in California
- Current DEA registration (if applicable)
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat patients independently
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Experience in [specific specialty if needed, e.g., family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, etc.] preferred, but not required
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and dedicated to providing the highest level of care
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $89,937.39 – $108,311.70 per year
Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
