This is a clinic that sees about 12-20 patients a day. We are a fairly new clinic opened for about 2 years . We are looking for a nice, fun and relaxed candidate to fulfill the role of our position for our per – diem position.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist physicians in providing patient care services in various medical settings.
Duties:
– Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate treatment- Order and interpret diagnostic tests- Assist in surgical procedures- Prescribe medications under physician supervision- Maintain accurate patient records- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Health Science or related field- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program- Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant- Strong knowledge of ICD-9 coding and medical terminology- Experience in hospital medicine and public health practices- Proficiency in medical imaging interpretation- Familiarity with infection control protocols- Ability to perform vital signs assessment and interpretation- Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques- Research skills for evidence-based practice
