Our state-of-the-art Urgent Care centers focus on the episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries on a walk-in basis 7-days a week with lab and x-rays on-site. We are seeking a Part-Time Physician Assistant to join our Team in San Diego, California. What does AFC Urgent Care have to offer?

• Competitive Pay: $67 to $73 an hour (DOE).
  • Incentivized with approved overtime (up to a 16% increase in gross pay).
  • Bonus Program affords an additional 2.5% to 5% increase in gross pay when volume thresholds are met.
• Highly desirable predictable scheduling:
  • Weekly schedule ranges from 22 to 34 hours (2 to 3 days) per week averaging 10 shifts a month.
  • Minimal weekend coverage requirements (will always have a Friday/Saturday, Sunday/Monday or Saturday/Sunday off).

What does AFC Urgent Care require?

• An unrestricted medical license in California
• DEA Certificate
• NCCPA Board Certified
• Minimal one year experience in ER, Urgent Care or Walk in Care
• Able to treat patients of all ages
• Competent performing minor procedures (laceration repairs, incision & draining, etc.)
• Available to fulfill the set work schedule.
