Internal Medicine Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner
Location – San Francisco, CA
Practice Setting: Outpatient
Start Date: Based on credentialing, approximately 60-90 daysContract Length: 6 months
Shift Details: 4×10 shifts (10 hours each, with a 30-minute lunch). Shifts are split between clinic coverage for part of the day and administrative tasks, telehealth etc.
Pay Rate – $105 per hour

Qualifications for Internal Medicine Provider:
- Required : 3 years of experience in internal medicine or general medicine.
- Experience: Proven competency in managing complex and critically ill patients. The ability to stay calm under pressure is essential.
- Prior ER or ICU experience preferred.
Department Overview: This department manages a very complex patient population, often seeing severely ill patients. As a teaching and research facility, there are abundant resources for APPs, and the faculty encourages questions and collaboration on research. E-consults are available when specialist input (e.g., neurology) is needed.
