Job Title: Pain Management Specialist – Skilled Nursing Facilities

Location: San Diego, CA

Job Type: Part-Time, Flexible Hours (2-4 Hours/Week)

About the Role:

Are you a dedicated healthcare professional looking for a flexible and rewarding side gig? We are seeking a skilled Pain Management Specialist to provide top-notch care to elderly patients in skilled nursing facilities across San Diego. This role focuses on managing pain for patients recovering from hip replacements, knee replacements, falls, and other related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide expert pain management services to elderly patients in skilled nursing facilities.

– Evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and injuries, including hip and knee replacements.

– Develop and implement individualized pain management plans in collaboration with facility staff.

– Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

– Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.

Qualifications:

– NP or PA with a specialization in pain management or related field.

– Active California medical license.

– Experience in treating elderly patients, particularly those recovering from orthopedic surgeries or injuries.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to work independently and collaborate with facility staff.

– Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
