Job Overview
Are you a Cardiovascular Physician Assistant seeking a challenging and rewarding position in the San Diego area?
We are currently seeking a skilled Physician Assistant for a permanent position in San Diego, CA. The opportunity involves working 100% in the OR on Cardiovascular Surgery cases.
Duties
- First and second assist with all types of cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Endoscopic Vein Harvesting
- Endoscopic Radial Artery Harvest (preferred but willing to train)
- On call requirements for emergency surgery only, approximately 1 week of coverage every 4 weeks for full time employees
- Strong team member who is flexible and self-motivated
- No clinic, rounding or patient calls!

Qualifications
- Certified Physician Assistant with at least 3 years of experience in CVT Surgery
- Active California Physician Assistant License
- DEA
- Current ACLS/BLS
