Full Job Description
- Provide consultation on complex outpatient cardiology issues in collaboration with cardiologist
- Respond to patient telephone calls, inform patients of test/lab results, renew medication prescriptions, and examine pathophysiology for diverse cardiovascular diseases
- Enter accurate, complete, timely progress notes for each episode of care in the patient’s electronic health record
- Establish diagnosis of cardiovascular ailments and formulate a plan of treatment, as well as assess the patient’s response to therapy and make adjustments to the plan of care as needed
- Adhere to safety, health, and infection control standards, regulations and work practices.
- Make use of evidence-based medicine procedures by utilizing quality and cost effective care
- Enlighten patients and their families with regards to the cardiovascular procedures, which include primary and secondary prevention of cardiac while being mindful of the patient’s emotional, cultural and physical requirements
- Carry out independent resolutions in which he/she is responsible
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $80.00 – $110.00 per hour
