Full Job Description
Sacramento Community Clinic is a non-profit health center located in Sacramento, CA. We are seeking to hire Physician Assistants to join our team of health professionals in providing health care services to our underserved communities.
This position is full-time, work hours are Mondays to Fridays from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and rotating Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This position is non-exempt and eligible for benefits after 90 days of employment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in physician assistant or related
- Valid physician assistant license to practice medicine in California
- 3 years or experience in medical/clinical setting
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly
- Conduct physical examinations and perform medical assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Provide critical care in emergency situations
- Collecting and documenting patient history and visit
- Collaborate and cooperate with other healthcare professionals such as physician, physician assistant, medical assistant and medical office manager
- Compile with health center policies and procedures
- Provide coverage to other clinic locations as needed
- Maintain active and current licensure and certification
- Assist in the training and development of medical support staff such a medical assistant and medical receptionist
- Attend meeting and trainings as required by management
- Perform other duties as assigned by management

Pay: $135,739.00 – $154,265.00 per year
