Description:

Premier Podiatry and Orthopedics is a thriving and rapidly growing orthopedic and podiatry practice dedicated to providing top-quality musculoskeletal care to the Sacramento community. Our team of highly skilled surgeons, physician assistants, and advanced practice providers work collaboratively to offer comprehensive orthopedic services, including general orthopedics, sports medicine, joint replacement, trauma, and minimally invasive procedures. With state-of-the-art facilities and a strong referral network, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions and injuries
  • Perform orthopedic surgeries, including joint replacements, arthroscopy, and fracture repairs
  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history review and physical examinations
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
  • Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, including medication prescriptions and physical therapy referrals
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Provide patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and post-operative care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care-Work under MD/Orthopedic Surgeon

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $130,000.00 per year depending on experience

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and musculoskeletal system
  • PA certification with specialization in orthopedics preferred
  • Proficiency in medical coding and documentation for accurate billing and insurance claims
  • Experience working with electronic health record systems, Athena Health preferred
