Job Overview:Nurick Surgical Institute is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our multi-specialty surgical team. As a practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care, diagnose and treat medical conditions, and collaborate with our other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses- Prescribe medications and provide appropriate treatments- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies- Develop and implement patient care plans- Pre and Post operative care- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records- Perform minor office procedures
– No in-patient duty assignment
Skills:-Proficient in medical terminology and documentation-Experience in minor office procedures-Ability to perform thorough physical examinations-Proficiency in suturing wounds (preferred) -One to three years experience in General surgery practice required
Qualifications:Valid Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner license in CA-Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred
