Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at a Gastroenterology specialty cilnic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical knowledge and patient care, demonstrating proficiency in various clinical settings. As a Physician Assistant, you will work collaboratively alongside with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality medical care to patients.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assess patient health status.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Provide education and support to patients regarding their health conditions and treatment options.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient care and improve outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital systems.

Experience

• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and hospital medicine is essential.
• Previous experience in patient care settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical-surgical procedures and protocols is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in healthcare delivery.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) certification.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess and manage a variety of medical conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Experience in Gastroenterology is a plus.

Pay: $130,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
