Job Title: Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)
Location: Richmond, CA
Schedule: 4×10 hour shifts (Wednesday – Saturday weekly OR Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday weekly)
Term: ASAP – 13 Weeks with option to extend
Pay Rate: $135-140/hr
Job Summary:
An emergency department in Richmond, California is looking for emergency nurse practitioners or physician assistants to provide additional coverage for increased patient load. Full support physicians, PAs, RNs and CNAs available.

Requirements of an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA):
- Active CA Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
- Board Certification
- Vaccination Requirement with Booster
- 1-year minimum experience in Emergency Medicine in the last 3 years
Responsibilities of an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA):
- Provide care to lower acuity patients in a 6-8 bed unit of the ED (Fast Track)
- See an average of 8-12 patients per day, depending on day/volumes
- Collaborate with physicians, other PAs, and support staff including MAs and RNs
- Document patient encounters accurately
