Full Job Description
The Maven Group INC Obstetrics and Gynecology practice is seeking a full time Physician Assistant. Our ideal candidate is friendly, professional, a team player, and comfortable balancing multiple tasks. Prior knowledge in obstetrics and gynecology is beneficial but training available based on experience.
Qualifications
- Master Degree in Physician Assistant from an accredited school
- Unrestricted CA license
- Prescription Authority through DEA, required 2 months prior to start date
- Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding for accurate billing and documentation
- Basic knowledge of EMR systems
Essential Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physician to ensure optimal patient care
- Provide comprehensive obstetrics and postpartum care
- Ability to identify and manage some high risk pregnancy conditions
- Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions
– Well woman exams – Family planning and contraceptive management
- Procedures including biopsy, IUD insertion/removal, Implant insertion/removal, colposcopy
Position Highlight
- Full time schedule Mon-Th, Fri ½ day
– Outpatient setting – No call
- Average daily patient census 20 per day
- Wage $60 to $80/hour, based on experience and qualifications
Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation depends on your experience.
