Pay Rate: $65 – $75 / hr
Responsibilities:
As an Onsite Occupational Health Practitioner with CareOnSite, you will:
- Provide in-person occupational health services to the community.
- Perform therapeutic and minor surgical procedures, including injections, immunizations, suturing, Sub Q foreign body removal, simple foreign body removal of the eye/cornea, and burn care.
- Offer occupational medicine services, including DOT exams and the treatment of Worker’s Compensation injuries.
- Conduct pre-participation physicals for employment purposes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient charts.
- Document patient information in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Minimum Education and Experience:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- 3+ years of occupational medicine or emergency medicine/urgent care experience.
- Ideally, experience working in both fast-track and main emergency department settings.
- The ability to work independently and serve as a leader for the team.
- Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
You must have completed an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program.
Qualifications and Skills:
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A current State PA license or NP license.
- A current DEA license.
- Current BCLS (CPR/AED) or ACLS certification.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
