Full Job Description

The Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA) provides patient care in both clinic and operating room settings. Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, surgical assistance, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient histories and physical exams.

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests.

  • Develop and implement treatment plans.

  • Perform joint injections, casting, and splinting.

  • Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care.

  • Assist surgeons during orthopedic procedures.

  • Manage pre- and post-operative care.

  • Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are prepared.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Accredited PA program graduate.

  • PA certification and state licensure.

  • Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred.

  • Biligual in Spanish or Chinese

Skills:

  • Strong clinical and surgical skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Setting

  • Orthopedic Clinic and operating room
