Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients across all age groups, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions. The FNP will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient-centered care in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and health histories.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
  • Provide treatment for acute and chronic illnesses, including prescribing medications as appropriate.
  • Educate patients and their families about health management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
  • Stay informed about current clinical research and advancements in family medicine to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Address issues related to workers’ compensation law and working with people with disabilities as needed.
  • Provide specialized care in areas such as hospice palliative medicine, senior care, or PICU when required.
  • Administer treatments such as botulinum toxin injections following established protocols.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by a recognized certifying body.
  • Valid state nursing license with prescriptive authority.
  • Experience in clinical settings, particularly in family practice or primary care is preferred.
  • Knowledge of standards related to inpatient care, clinical research methodologies, and systems for managing patient information.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
  • Familiarity with hospice palliative medicine principles is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $70.00 – $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
