Research Physical Assistant / Nurse Practitioner
Job Type – Part time Monday-Thursday
Salary: $70-$85 per hour
Responsibilities:
Under the guidance and supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is responsible to assess and manage subjects in research studies to include:
- Complete required research protocol training
- Comprehend the protocol design, including inclusion and exclusion criteria, drug administration and requirements of the study
- Oversee the informed consent process
- Conduct screening history and physical exams
- Interpret ECG, labwork and imaging reports
- Interact with subjects to address screening related questions or safety concerns
- Review screening medical records to determine subject’s eligibility
- Identify, document and follow up on adverse events, providing treatment as needed
- Review, initial and date all safety data in a timely manner
- Participate in developing regulatory source documents and forms for the protocol
- Collaborate with Clinical Research Coordinator with documentation for studies
- As needed, assist clinical staff with procedures related to the protocol
- May serve as a Sub-Investigator on protocols
Requirements:
- Current valid California licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- One year of clinical research experience
- Strong computer skills and capable of using clinical trial databases and electronic capture
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $75.00 – $85.00 per hour

- CA Certified Nurse Practitioner (Required)
- CA Physician Assistant License (Required)
