Looking for a ” Part Time to Full time ” motivated physician assistant to work at an established urgent care in Orange and Laguna Hills.
Looking for a flexible, motivated, reliable candidate to start this month.
Experience in urgent care preferred but not required.
The Physician Assistant will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing medical procedures, and providing patient education.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform some basic urgent care procedures (laceration repairs, I&D, etc).
- Ability reading preliminary on-site X-Rays and EKGs.
- Current Valid BLS Certification.
- Experience in urgent care or a similar clinical setting is a plus, but not required
- Able to assess and treat patients in an acute care setting, which includes but is not limited to, acute infectious diseases, minor orthopedic ailments.
- Patient assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
- Ability to provide patient education and support.
- Collaboration and patient care coordination skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
- Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
