Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various medical disciplines, including acute care, and primary care. This role involves working closely with physicians to provide high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and managing treatment plans.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as required.
• Collaborate with physicians on treatment plans and provide follow-up care.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health management, medications, and treatment options.
• Utilize DME (Durable Medical Equipment) knowledge to assist patients with necessary equipment.
• Maintain accurate medical records using ICD-10 coding for diagnoses.
• Participate in the management of patients as needed.
• Support senior care initiatives by addressing the unique health needs of elderly patients.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with active state licensure.
• Experience in primary care or senior care settings preferred.
• Proficiency in medication administration and basic life support techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
• Knowledge of DME processes and discharge planning protocols is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding is an asset.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time and part time position with flexible scheduling (including some evenings and/or weekends).
• Competitive salary based on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60.00 – $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
